If you haven’t yet read my last post on

(aptly titled The Not-So-Subtle Art Of Launching A Book), head on over there in a sec to get the behind-the-scenes on what’s going on in my head and heart.

But the real reason I’m sending this to you today is to let you know a few things…

1. Today is officially the LAST DAY you can be a part of the pre-order campaign for WANT YOUR SELF, which means it’s the last chance you’ve got to order your book in time for it to potentially arrive ON Pub Day. 2. This also means it’s officially the LAST DAY to sign up for our Private Bagel Sunday Launch Party on Zoom. Head over here and fill out the form at the bottom of the page to get on the invite list. This will disappear tomorrow (Tuesday), so make sure you do it now!

3. This also means…it’s time to announce my first stops on the WANT YOUR SELF Book Tour!!!!!

October is all about my hometowns: New York and Los Angeles. More cities and dates will be announced in a few weeks once November is around the corner…but let’s start here!

A little behind-the-scenes moment: a lot of people think of their book tours in terms of one month — maybe two — and then end up burning out, hardcore. However, I know this book is coming out during the first of many transitional seasons: October marks a change in the air, November and December bring the holidays, January brings a new year, and February solidifies that new year in our heads and hearts. These are ALL times when WANT YOUR SELF will be so, so needed — I can feel it. There is no need to rush the process for the sake of rushing.

Starting now, I’m going to spread this book tour over the course of the next four months so we can make the most of our time together. You’ve been with me this whole time and deserve the best of the best! To both serve you best and follow my own advice, we are going to milk this moment for all it’s worth. And yeah. Maybe I also just don’t want this process to end :)

I’ll be hosting IRL events, virtual workshops, book club chats, in-house talks, and more. I’ve already got Boston, Chicago, PNW, and more coming up, plus a few private events. And now…we rest a little. I am typing this on Sunday night, and my head is spinning a little from all that’s about to take place this next week and beyond. So I’m gonna go to sleep, take tomorrow as easy as possible, and prepare for the new chapter that begins on Tuesday.
